There is a universal formula to use when calculating the stairs for a house:
2 h + s = 60-65 cm.
What do the different symbols in this equation mean? H to is the height of the step and s is its width. The result of multiplying the step height by 2 and adding the width should be between 60 and 65 cm.
The starting point for such calculations is always the height of the floor, i.e. the distance for which the stairs are to be a connecting element. We need to divide this value by the step height to find out how many steps need to be designed.
